GLOBAL ONE HOTEL GROUP, INC., (doing business under the name of MCollection Vacation Rentals), hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”, is committed in respecting your right to privacy.

 

To ensure that your right to privacy is protected in the course of our dealings and when we process your Personal Data, we are committed to comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 or otherwise known as Republic Act (R.A.) 10178 (“DPA”), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (“IRR”), and other relevant issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This Privacy Notice outlines our data privacy principles and practices. We highly recommend that you read this Privacy Notice to understand how we collect, use, retain, disclose and dispose your Personal Data, as well as your rights as “Data Subjects”, as defined by the DPA.

 

When you interact with us, you may share your Personal Data. The term “Personal Data” refers to all types of Personal Information collected and processed by us that identifies you personally, alone or in combination with other information available to us. It can include, among other things: your name and contact details (i.e., email address, mobile number); booking information and preferences; location data and device/browser details (via cookies or analytics tools); feedback or inquiries sent through forms; and any other information voluntarily provided through our website, MCollection

When you visit our website, we may collect the following personal information that you may voluntarily provide, such as: name; email address; phone number, and any other details you submit via our contract forms, inquiry pages, or newsletter sign-ups.

 

We may also automatically collect personal information such as: your IP address, browser type and version; operating system; pages visited, time spent on our site; and referring website.

 

The personal data is collected through cookies, analytics tools and web server logs. Cookies are used to improve your browsing experience, understand user behavior, and serve relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.

 

You have the option to choose which personal data you are comfortable to share with us. However, if you choose not to provide the personal information that we need/mandatory in processing your application, we may not be able to process your application.

Your personal data will be used throughout MHR and its affiliated hotel properties for the purpose of:

  1. Responding to inquiries or process reservations;
  2. Personalizing experience and improve site functionality;
  3. Sending booking confirmations, promotions, or updates (with consent);
  4. Analyzing website performance and customer preferences; and
  5. Compliance with legal obligations, if necessary.

 

 

  • Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data

 

We may share your personal information across MHR and its affiliated hotel properties and with our accredited third parties, if so, required by your transaction with us, or to government agencies as required by relevant laws and regulations. 

We ensure that personal information shared through email or by any other electronic means are protected with the controls employed within our IT systems and with the other controls in place to mitigate the risk of data breaches. We ensure that all our employees across all properties are well-informed of the Data Privacy Act and their responsibilities as Personal Information Controllers/Processors, particularly in receiving and transferring of information.

 

  • Retention and Disposal of Personal Data

 

We may retain your personal data in various forms such as paper file or electronic file. Only authorized personnel and you are allowed to access your personal data for security purposes. All of your personal data collected will be stored in our IT Systems, which are secured with usernames and passwords where access is limited to authorized personnel only. Further, we implement industry-standard security protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, or loss. These include secure servers, access controls, encryption, and staff training.

We shall retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or a period of up to 5 years from last interaction, unless longer retention is required by any applicable laws or regulations.

After the retention period specified above, we are no longer responsible to keep and provide you with your Personal Data/documents. Personal Data will be permanently deleted from our databases and systems. Any printed documents are shredded or disposed of securely in accordance with internal data disposal protocols.
